Pickup for this Auction Will Be:

  • Tuesday, February 4th from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Wednesday, February 5th from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Shipments will start getting packed the week after auction checkout week. (February 10th-14th)

Payment Terms & Deadline

  • Payment Deadline: Buyers must pay invoices by the specified deadline. Any buyer who has not paid by the deadline authorizes NexBid to automatically charge the card on file for the full amount or smaller amounts at a time to obtain the full payment. NexBid reserves the right to attempt daily charges until the full amount is collected, even if it takes a week.

  • Automatic Charges: We will begin automatically charging cards at 2:00 PM on the final pickup day for each auction.

  • Late Payment Fees: A $25.00 per day fee per invoice will be applied for past due payments. This daily fee will continue to accrue until the full amount is paid. Partial payments will not stop the accrual of daily late fees.

Storage Terms

  • Unpicked Items: Any items not picked up by the final pickup day will incur a storage fee of $25.00 per week per pallet space.

  • Space Limitations: Due to the high volume of auctions and limited storage space, we cannot store items indefinitely without fees. Please make arrangements to pick up your items by the deadline.

  • Shipping Items Exemption: No storage fees will be applied to items awaiting shipping while packing is in progress.

  • Unpaid Storage Fees: Storage fees will apply for up to 30 days. If storage fees remain unpaid after 30 days, the items will revert back to the seller, and no refunds will be owed to the buyer. Outstanding storage fees will still be due, and unpaid fees will be sent to collections. This policy is similar to that of a storage facility—if you abandon your items, you are still responsible for the storage fees accrued.

Shipping Terms

  • Shipping Timeline: Shipments will start getting packed the week following the auction checkout week. We estimate dates for packing and shipment but cannot control delays caused by third parties, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Responsibility Disclaimer: NexBid is an auction company, not a retailer with guaranteed shipping timelines. Buyers have the option to pick up their items if shipping delays are unacceptable.

  • Packing Fees: Packing fees apply to all freight shipments or any ground shipments containing fragile or breakable items.

  • Freight Shipping Liability: Buyers are liable for any additional fees caused by rescheduling delivery, incorrect delivery address information (e.g., commercial address listed as residential), or failure to be available at the time of delivery. Carriers charge for these issues, and buyers agree to pay any additional fees upon receipt of an invoice. Failure to pay within 48 hours authorizes NexBid to charge the card on file.

Important Payment & Pickup Information

  • Accepted Payment Methods: Cash or credit card only. Any invoice over $7,500.00 must be paid via wire transfer or cash.

  • Buyer's Premium:

    • 15% buyer’s premium applies to all purchases.

    • A 3% discount on the buyer’s premium is offered for cash payments, reducing the buyer’s premium to 12% for cash buyers.

  • Authorized Pickup: If someone other than the registered bidder is picking up items, the bidder must email NexBid with:

    • The registered bidder's first and last name

    • The full name of the authorized party picking up the items

Liability Disclaimer

  • Bid Execution: NexBid is not liable for any failure to execute a bid due to:

    • Internet outages

    • Software issues

    • Computer crashes

    • Other unforeseen issues

Non-Performing Bidders

  • Penalties: Any non-performing bidder will be charged a 50% invoice fee for unpaid invoices by the deadline. Non-payment will result in a 14-day period to pay before the invoice is sent to collections. If the unpaid amount exceeds $2,500.00, legal action will be pursued.

  • Warning: Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. This is an online auction with legally binding terms, not a retail store or an eBay listing.

Shipping Information

  • Shipping Not Included: Shipping is not included in the winning bid price. Buyers must request and pay for shipping separately.

  • Freight Shipment Terms:

    • Freight shipments with LTL carriers do not include indoor delivery. If indoor delivery is required, carriers charge an additional fee.

    • NexBid offers assistance with shipping as a courtesy. However, NexBid is not responsible for shipping delays, damages, or any issues with shipping. Buyers are strongly advised to purchase shipping insurance.

      • Business name (if applicable)

      • Shipping address

      • Contact name and phone number

      • Availability of a forklift or loading dock at the delivery address (for freight shipments)

Consignor Terms

  • Consignor Rights: NexBid and its consignors reserve the right to:

    • Remove any and all items from a sale at any time.

    • Bid on behalf of the seller to assist in meeting the reserve price.

    • Extend the auction closing date if needed.

Soft Close Auction

  • Bidding Extensions: This is a soft close auction. Any bids placed in the last 3 minutes of a lot closing will extend bidding for that lot by an additional 3 minutes, simulating a live auction environment.
